Worship

Our MissionSunday morning worship is at 9:00 a.m.  It is a traditional service with a blend of traditional and contemporary music.  A coffee hour follows the service.

The choir provides an opportunity to sing  a variety of anthems, both traditional and contemporary several times each month. The choir holds it practices on Thursday evenings at 7:15p.m.

The Bell Choir is a joint choir that has members from both Pioneer Presbyterian Church and First Presbyterian Church.   The choir performs at both churches.

Children are an important part of our worship service. They are in the sanctuary at the beginning of the service, collect food donations from the congregation every Sunday for the local food pantries, listen to the children’s sermon and then go to Sunday school. Some children also serve as liturgists during the service.

LearningA candlelight service is held early in the evening on Christmas eve.

During the Lenten season services are held every Wednesday evening with several other churches.  A soup supper is  followed by a lesson.”
