Kids & Youth

Pioneer DaysWednesday Family Activity Night:     The activity night is held once a month on a Wednesday evening, usually at 5:00p.m.  Activities include mixers, Bible games, music, crafts and a light supper. Activities also take place outside the church such as visiting the residents at the Renaissance care facility and socializing and playing games with them.    The goal is to build the church with children and their families by attending the Activity Nights, and to encourage them to bring others to experience God’s love though the word of God

Sunday School:  Sunday school is held each Sunday during the service.  The children attend the Church service until the children’s message and then they go to their classroom.  There they learn about the Bible and how to serve God using the One Room Sunday school curriculum published by Abingdon Press.   A Christmas program is presented in mid-December each year.

Pioneer PresbyterianAn informal time of studying God’s Word is held in the summer during morning worship for grades K-6.  This may include a short Bible story and crafts,  Christian movies or a nature walk enjoying God’s beauty.

Nursery:   A nursery is available during the Church service for the care of the very young children and is staffed by a volunteer member of the congregation.

Vacation Bible School:  Vacation Bible School is held each summer in August with other area churches for children ages 4-12.

Spirit Days,  an overnight adventure to Noah’s Ark Water Park, is enjoyed by the children of the church in June.
